TEMPORARY WAREHOUSES – PRICE AND QUALITY
Temporary warehouses are associated with temporary structures, which, by definition, are inexpensive.
Analysing the marketing of temporary warehouses, you can notice considerable price differences between seemingly very-similar constructions.
The question is, how, in fact, the cheapest tent hall constructions available on the market differ from the solutions offered by recommended producers?
The devil’s in the detail, and, when making a decision to buy a temporary warehouse, you should know what really influences the quality and price of a temporary warehouse.
Under legal provisions, temporary warehouses are treated as non-durable permanent constructions, and some producers offer cheap temporary warehouses, calling them seasonal products.
The name is to result from the fact that the permissible snow and wind loads for a “seasonal” hall are the lowest possible and, therefore, the producer recommends that the hall be disassembled for the winter period.
Cheap, seasonal temporary warehouses differ considerably from constructions of many years’ standing.
Seasonal halls have a frame construction made of the cheapest and least resistant elements. In the event of a strong, gusty, wind, or heavy snowfall in mountain areas – “during the season”, a seasonal tent hall can be, to say the least, the wrong solution.
The Pol-Plan range includes exclusively temporary warehouses adapted to the local snow and wind zone, pursuant to construction law. These are constructions of many years’ standing (36-month guarantee, design durability of at least 10 years) based on well-tried, certified solutions.
Temporary warehouses for clients from Sweden and Norway, where required snow loads are as high as 350 kg/m2, are among the projects implemented by Pol-Plan.
Modular hall frames made of aluminium sections ensure the required durability and resistance, and, at the same time, are lighter and better protected against corrosion than steel constructions. Pol-Plan temporary warehouses are a fully functional alternative to traditionally built storage halls, and, thanks to their light construction, are mobile solutions – assembly/disassembly time 1-3 days.
Certified materials with a safety guarantee.
The mass, automated, production of hall elements, carried out according to calculations included in the technical documentation for a given hall, ensures high and repeatable quality and durability, unlike the often “outworked” welded, cheap steel pipes.
Quality-control mechanisms are implemented at each stage of the tent-hall production.
All materials used for tent-hall construction are certified.
PVC canvas materials used as tent-hall cladding constitute only the highest-quality materials from European companies SATTLER and HEYTEX, holding all the required safety and fire resistance certificates.
Qualified personnel are necessary for maintaining the high quality of products.
Pol-Plan invests in employees, providing them with attractive remuneration, comfortable working conditions and professional training. This translates into the quality of temporary warehouses.
You should ask yourself the question of whether the very-attractive “dumping” price of a tent hall does not result from the low wages of employees, and how this could translate into quality. It is difficult to build a company with a good reputation without a well-coordinated team of experienced employees on the European market.
As well as in the case of hall assembly, the long experience of employees who are able to meet the promised deadlines, even in unfavourable atmospheric conditions, pays off.
A number of clients experience a rift between the promised and real assembly times, deciding to buy the cheapest product on the market.
Quality comes at a price, and, when deciding to buy a temporary warehouses=, it is worth knowing what can be hidden behind its extremely low price.
